INSTRUCTOR GONE WRONG…the global transformative trials of online onboarding for instructors.  How to manage, administer, and develop effective instructor training and Professional Development across borders when it's lost in translation. Discover transformational instructor development through engaging online instructional practice and delivery.

Our challenge…to educate cyber-instructors in best practice instructional techniques moving from traditional death-by-PowerPoint presentations to interactive engagement of curriculum (Common Body of Knowledge -CBK) within a high-stakes testing environment. Whether you're a cyber-professional or, intrigued by cybersecurity this presentation will guide you in the thoughtful development of professional training for instructors, teachers, trainers, and educators.

Participants will learn how to implement, administer, and deploy effective global online training for continuious instructor Professional Development in D2L - Brightspace LMS with portability among multiple LMS platforms. Through interactive online presentation storyboards learn how to transform, tired training into meaningful objective-driven modules.

Discover progressive change management through mentor-led discussion and interaction to engage and equip instructors across all levels.  

Gameful design elements from storyboard interactions and instructional techniques with easy-to-replicate design ideas will be shared with participants. 

LMS-direct presentation of training storyboard modules along with presentation diagram handouts are delivered during the session. Participants assume the role of instructor-in-training throughout the presentation to inspire active participation and comprehension of learning objectives:

  • Participate in global cybersecurity online onboarding course.
  • Discuss implementation techniques of creative design in training modules.
  • Observe mentor-led group discussion in progress.
  • Define transformational learning in the context of professional development training.
