Abstract:
Learn how expert online adjunct faculty from the University System of New Hampshire collaborated to develop a fully online professional learning community to drive engagement, innovation, and a cycle of continuous quality improvement for effective online teaching and learning.
Extended Abstract:
In 2021 a group of expert online adjunct faculty from the University System of New Hampshire collaborated to develop a fully online professional learning community (PLC) dedicated to continuous quality improvement for effective online teaching and learning. This session will explore how the group used a framework called Prepared, Personal, and Proven to guide the development, facilitation, and outcomes tracking for the online PLC, including:
- Initial development and stakeholder support
- Ongoing facilitation and sustainability
- Measuring impact and celebrating success
- Engaging in an iterative, collaborative process of continuous improvement, and
- Leveraging continued support and resources for adjunct faculty-led initiatives
