Careers in digital education require teams to constantly adapt. In this session, we will demonstrate how SCRUM masters can use agile project management methodologies and tools (such as Jira) to keep teams on track and moving forward efficiently in higher education settings.

Extended Abstract: 

Online education is growing at unprecedented rates. With University expectations to scale to one million global users in the next five years, identifying project management practices and tools that can adapt in synchrony with ever-changing product requirements is crucial for success. In this session, we will demonstrate how to use agile methodology to move forward large higher education initiatives. We will discuss the advantages of using SCRUM in higher education as well as the challenges. Attendees will learn how to decide if SCRUM or another agile technique is right for a project.
