We’ll cover some of the basics of making effective videos, but also get into ways to make video and audio content more engaging. We’ll also discuss accessibility, technology solutions, and how IDs can help faculty avoid the common pitfalls of bad video.
Video and audio aren’t just for faculty, though! Bring your students voices in your class through video discussion, student choice assignments, podcast projects, and lots more. Provide students different ways to demonstrate mastery, eliminate the “blank page” anxiety, and combine their own interests with your subject matter.
Attendees will learn and share ideas for using video and audio to increase student engagement, understanding of material, student choice, equity, and confidence.
