Abstract:
Extending the findings of a 2021 study conducted in partnership between the Wiche Cooperative for Educational Technologies and Every Learner Everywhere, this interactive panel discussion will provide an open conversation with study authors and online leaders about best practices for supporting online adjunct faculty through hiring, onboarding, training, and support. This interactive discussion will focus on the challenges facing online adjunct faculty. This session will also provide strategies for academic leaders for creating an inclusive institutional plan for helping online adjunct faculty create connections to campus, students, and colleagues.
