The biggest challenge in the fast-paced business world is how to rapidly reduce time to develop the skills and performance of the employees and teams. Your teams need help to acquire next-generation skills, master never-seen-before technologies or products and adapt rapidly to dynamic changes. Training and learning interventions are always the first line of defence in preparing the employees for the job quickly. The goal of this talk is to educate training and learning designers, trainers and L&D professionals with a research-based, proven training model, strategies and recommendations to design proficiency-focussed online training design meant to speed up performance.

Your teams need help to acquire next-generation skills, master never-seen-before technologies or products and adapt rapidly to dynamic changes. Training and learning interventions are always the first line of defence in preparing the employees for the job quickly. The goal of this talk is to educate training and learning designers, trainers and L&D professionals to avoid research-informed speed decelerators caused by inefficient, poor training design, which does the opposite of shortening time to proficiency. The talk will deliver research-based, proven training model, strategies and recommendations to design proficiency-focussed training design meant to speed up performance.
