Extended Abstract:

Many instructors struggle with creating and remediating course content and making it accessible for all students. The time commitment is often overwhelming. Instructors don't know how to get started. They often feel lost in the process. It takes a village and many friends to accomplish this often daunting task. This interactive conversation will highlight some of our friends we use to help us remediate content for students that receive services through DSS. One friend helps all students in the course have access to content in an accessible format that allows them to choose the method they want to consume the instructional materials.

Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with some of our tools so they can feel comfortable and know they have a support mechanism. Participants will leave the discussion with a lists of friends and a sense of accomplishment. Participants will share their process and expertise so we all gain new friends.
