Universal design for learning (UDL) provides guidelines to support diverse populations of learners. This conversation, led by a team of instructional designers, will demonstrate how the Office of Digital Learning collaborated with an online program in implementing UDL principles from concept to completion.

Universal design for learning (UDL) provides guidelines to support diverse populations of learners. This conversation, led by a team of instructional designers, will demonstrate how the Office of Digital Learning collaborated with an online program in implementing UDL principles from concept to completion. Participants will gain insight into the differences and similarities in course development, as well as hear about the lessons that were learned, and recommendations for scaling these processes up into a departmental workflow. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their ideas, experiences, and questions regarding implementing UDL into the course design process.
