Presentation Description and Goals

This presentation is twofold:

1. All textbooks do not have the capability of offering alternate sets of solutions however some publishers have the capability using software such as Connect and My Accounting Lab. Because of this, plagiarism has increased due to the availability of answers on line. This presents a problem in both land based classes and on line classes. To prevent the availability of answers an alternate method is available using Excel.

 2. Camtasia video software allows you to record your screen, whether it is Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. After the recording you then add visual effects to the presentation such as “Call-outs” to reinforce a point. Draw boxes, circles, etc. around important points, add music, introduction slides, etc. You can resize the screen and zoom in to specific parts of the screen. The resulting product is a professional presentation that takes little time. Make an error, Camtasia allows you to cut out the error and record and insert the new material.
