The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai developed its MS program in Health Care Delivery Leadership to help health care professionals meet today’s exciting challenges. This program provides the opportunity to further develop and refine professional attributes that are critical to success in the health care delivery industry. The participants in our cohorts are forward-thinking health care professionals who are seeking knowledge and skills to  provide strategic leadership and effective management within a rapidly changing health care sector.

In the process of creating the MSHCDL degree program, we discovered what instructional design tools and techniques work better with senior professionals. Drawing on our experience, we'd like to discuss with the session participants some of the following questions:

 - What differentiates learning habits of digital natives and digital immigrants?

 - What is important for senior professionals in their learning experience?

- What are the important "ingredients" in the design of the leanring environments for today's senior professionals?

 -  How to use the different features of learning management systems to create strong and engaging learning community?
