Abstract:

Ever had a problem you just didn't have time or a team to solve with? Then come brainstorm solutions with our award winning team! Our expertises cover a wide variety of areas including accessibility, leadership, project management, eLearning, engagement, customer service, DEI and more!

Extended Abstract:

This discovery sessions is exactly what it sounds like: we're offering consultations with a team of Instructional Designers, helping you solve your course problems, brainstorming new concepts, or just sharing stories of what worked for us across the Higher Ed spectrum.

We want to connect with people and do a speed dating level of problem solving across the field of instructional design. Come by and chat with us on any topic that you're curious about. The Department of Mysteries is our code word we use when something outside the norm comes to our team and needs a solution.

Level of Participation:

This is less of a presentation and more of a direct interaction with the Course Production Team at UNC Charlotte! Come ready to chat and explore all things Instructional Design.

Session Goals:

Individuals stopping by our discovery session will have a chance to interact with other Instructional Designers in the field and be able to talk about their specific work and experiences in the field. The hope is that each individual will be able to takeaway a proven solution for their problem or just a new idea to try in their line of work.

This session is purposefully broad because we want to be able to work together across the eniterty of curriculum and look at any challenges that come with designing in Higher Ed!
