Join us and learn about our successful Women's Leadership Faculty Cohort program!
The program aims to:
- Offer tools and resources that promote professional, personal formation, and empowerment to women
- Contribute to an increased sense of overall work satisfaction and improved morale among female employees
- Influence a culture of support for women’s leadership
- Identify and capture new opportunities for innovation in teaching and learning
- Develop talent and leadership qualities in each other while fostering organizational diversity
While the program includes tenured faculty and adjuncts, the original goal was to build community and resources for online professors who may not be able to interact with colleagues as often as full-time professors. You will learn how the program is set up, how participants are chosen, and how meetings are scheduled for a diverse group of women who are spread across the world. I’ll also include information on how topics are chosen, a sample list of successful topics, and how the monthly conversations are conducted. You will hear personal stories on the success of the program, what it means to our female professors, and why it’s important to offer something similar at your school or university.
