Abstract: 

Explore the different flavors and trends in online learning and learn how Bentley’s online MBA was launched with 0-15 in one and half year using existing and new classroom and technology platforms. This session will help you quick start your online initiatives.

Extended Abstract: 

Bentley University started an online extended classroom in the year 2000 and now offer a variety of flavors for teaching in the online modality. This session will explore the different flavors and trends in online learning and alternative modalities offered at Bentley - hybrid, blended, synchronous and asynchronous. Also discussed will be the ingredients used to deliver online courses at Bentley – classroom technologies for synchronous sessions, infrastructure for video and lecture capture and recordings, web conferencing platforms, course development process, digital accessibility and many more. The goal of this presentation is to guide the audience in getting started with any or all of these flavors and discuss the right ingredients required for quick starting an online initiative and levels of resources in online course development. Finally, the session will end with feedback from students in Bentley’s online courses.
