Special Session:
Leadership
Abstract:

In this session, I will share how our school gained institutional alignment for a new online initiative within our school with the hope of inspiring new creative approaches for other schools. Believe it or not, alignment can come from a single sticky note (and a lot of questions)!

Extended Abstract:

There may be a select few within a school or institution who decide to launch a new initiative. Once that decision has been made, so many more individuals and teams are required to collaborate to bring that initiative to life. Alignment becomes crucial to successful design and development, and then further into the evaluation of that new program.

In this session, I will share how our school initially gained institutional alignment for a new online initiative, and then how we have adapted and utilized that same process for additional new initiatives. Believe it or not, alignment can come from a single sticky note (and a lot of questions)!

Session attendees will leave with new methodologies to adapt for their own organization, and even a sticky note of their own to test with colleagues back at home.
