Learn how colleges and 175+ districts have partnered with a major university initiative to integrate deep coaching practices and supports that impact student postsecondary readiness using evidence-based pedagogy. Explore how the Professional Learning and Development model builds individual teacher capacity across four pillars that create an authentic college experiences for students by leveraging blended and face-to-face experiences. Gain insights and practical strategies for designing professional learning and development that meet your needs for evolving student needs.
Participant Outcomes:
1) Describe successful methods used for implementing research-based practices to improve student learning through four pillars of content, pedagogy, technology, and behavior.
2) Apply adult developmental theory to leverage knowledge networks within and between organizations in participant’s own contexts.
3) Design or enhance a model of professional learning and development with a peer that addresses change needs in the local school, district, or organizational context.
