As faculty and designers it is our job to implement technology to make our courses engaging by using 21st century technologies. This presentation will discuss a 7-Step process to help faculty and instructional designers how to decide if this technology is right for a course or not.

Extended Abstract: 

As we have moved through the 21st century the way students learn and want to be taught has changed drastically as the learners desire the use of 21st century technology in their learning and problem solving. As faculty members and designers it is our job to implement technology to make our courses engaging by using 21st century technologies. At the same time, the amount of technology available to us can be daunting to sort through.  In this presentation we will discuss a 7-Step process to help faculty and instructional designers decide if a piece of technology or a new app or tool is right for a course or not.
