This session will demonstrate how utilizing Persuasive Design Strategies in the creation of an integrated learning environment can positively impact learner outcomes.
Borrowing insights from social psychology, digital marketing, UX design and learning strategy, the session will explore overlapping concepts related to the importance of designing the full experience, while challenging traditional thinking about the role of the LMS. We will walk through several research-based persuasive design strategies applicable to any integrated learning environment and demonstrate their impacts on the learner experience.
Attendees will leave the session with not only a background in the concepts and disciplines of persuasive design but also the ability to articulate and implement persuasive design strategies in the creation or evolution of their own digital learning environments, whether they are an instructional designer, eLearning administrator, or IT professional.
