Planned discussion questions include:
- How central is your institution’s faith mission to your online programs?
- Is it more difficult to incorporate mission into an online program than into a ground-based program?
- What techniques do you recommend for incorporating mission into your online courses and programs?
- How does your mission manifest itself in your marketing of online programs?
- What sort of conversations go on at your campus about whether an online program is “too religious” or “not religious enough”?
Outcomes:
- Participants from religiously-affiliated institutions will gain ideas for incorporating their religious mission into their online programs.
- Participants from secular institutions will gain ideas for enriching their online programs with the broader aspects of their missions.
