This presentation will discuss the advantages of using H5P to create interactive content in online and blended courses. We will go over H5P features, usesa, and examples to help instructors build various learning activities. By using this tool, students are actively engaged with the content and can easily revisit and interact with the course material. H5P allows for immediate feedback and tracking for faculty and students.
With an increasing emphasis on online education at the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina, course content and instructional materials are to be redesigned to meet the needs of distance learners.
This presentation will discuss using an e-authoring tool (H5P) to build interactive content within online and blended courses. H5P offers the ability to create interactive overlays on top of YouTube or other pre-existing videos. So, instructors could enhance their videos with quiz questions that prompt the student to check their understanding and reflect on their learning progress. Both instructors and students could track the data to improve outcomes.
