In many cases, Instructional Designers (IDs) are charged with assisting faculty and other staff members in the development of courses, learning environments and solutions that meets the needs of their institution. This discussion will provide insights and best practices for IDs managing projects and workload, developing and maintaining relationships and identifying technology to support learning.

In many cases, Instructional Designers (IDs) are charged with assisting faculty and other staff members in the development of courses, learning environments and solutions that meets the needs of their institution. This discussion will provide insights and best practices for IDs managing projects and workload, developing and maintaining relationships and identifying technology to support learning.

The presenters, who both support faculty and staff in higher education, will guide this discussion by sharing examples and eliciting anecdotes from the audience.  The overarching goal of this session is to develop a community of practice for Instructional Designers that face these types of challenges on a daily basis.
