While there are many possible benefits for delivering web sessions, what are the best ways to keep learners engaged with other members and the content? Join this session to gain a few tips for learner engagement, share your recommendations, and leave with new ideas for your next web session!

Extended Abstract: 

A web session is a great way to allow instructors and learners an opportunity to communicate with one another live, in real-time no matter the geographical location. Some instructors choose to utilize a web conferencing tool to deliver live instruction, facilitate an orientation, and invite special guest speakers. While there are many possible benefits for giving web sessions, the question is what are the best ways to keep learners engaged with other members and the content being delivered?

Whether you consider yourself a veteran in delivering web sessions or just interested to see if it's a strategy right for you, join this interactive session to gain a few tips for learner engagement, share your recommendations and experiences, and leave with several new ideas that you can try out on your next web session!

  • Participate in a web session implementing the tips shared
