Abstract:

Our education system is frequently changing and now with more and more people utilizing online learning platforms, it is important for educators to understand how to help their students succeed in the non-traditional classroom setting.

Extended Abstract:

Online education is a resource that can be used to benefit the non-traditional student, however, there are specific “best practices” that educators can implement to help their students get the most of their online education. Using specific examples from educators who have had success from Proctorio, this session will leave each attendee with a deeper understanding of the best practices in online learning.

This session will be led by Proctorio’s CEO, Mike Olsen, and he will share the best practices in online learning, supported by Proctorio clients and their experiences with Proctorio’s software. Online learning platforms are becoming increasingly popular among students around the world. As an instructor, being able to be a good resource for your students is important, especially while lacking face to face interaction but helping students succeed in online learning can be challenging, as instructors are not able to be there to help them hands-on. The goal of this session is to help instructors understand how to help their students be successful and the benefits of using remote proctoring for online learning.
