The importance of using the new Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy, which includes technology tools, is to strategically improve and develop effective assessments in the courseroom. The conceptual framework of Bloom’s Taxonomy, now Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy, is a simplistic tool for facilitators to generate ideas to accommodate instructional learning goals. In addition, the approach of this newly revised digital taxonomy, like other taxonomies, will promote initiation of a learning process that starts at any point on the taxonomy. The implication of sharing the use of Bloom’s Taxonomy for the Digital Age and promoting it, as a best practice throughout the University and among education leaders, will enhance the learning process of the 21st century learner. I hope today's session provides numerous takeaways and energizes you to improve student learning!
