Abstract:
This session discusses the challenges of providing online alternatives to meet student needs. The need for online courses, student feedback, and faculty feedback will be discussed as the alternative to a fully online program was developed. Student engagement techniques will be discussed.
Extended Abstract:
This session will discuss survey results from students that provided the data-driven approach to providing classes online. The struggles and success of developing this course will be discussed, as well as techniques to engage students. Attendees will hear about student and faculty attitudes and perceptions of online classes and technology.
