Setting your RFP Processes to Get More Valuable Responses

Abstract:

"Setting your RFP processes to Get More Valuable Responses," presented by Eric McGee, VP of Partnership Development, will focus on how higher education leaders can get more value from their Request for Proposal processes. Eric will focus on how administrators can improve their RFP process and impact the innovation culture.

Extended Abstract:

Higher education administrators and technologists can improve their RFP processes to ensure that they get the best possible responses from EdTech vendors. Strengthening the RFP process requires an understanding of your needs as well a the currently available solutions. However, knowing the needs and possible solutions may not be enough to ensure that you get the results and solution that you desire. A strong pre-RFP planning process will lead to more, and better, responses from prospective vendors.

Eric McGee, Vice President of Partnership Development at ProctorFree, is also a former university administrator. His experience on both sides of the RFP process provides unique insights and understanding into the challenges and opportunities facing both universities and EdTech vendors.
