Abstract:
This session will cover experiences of observing adjunct faculty members at a 2 year college in the online Kinesiology and Health Deparmtment. I will review what we do in order to assist our adjuncts to be the best they can be to improve student retention.
Extended Abstract:
I will share the exeperience as an assistant department chair to the online Business and Kinesiology and Health Department at Perimeter College/Georgia State University. I will review our best practices as a department to keep our adjuncts up to date with our technology, our mentoring program and our conference we hold each fall. This session will cover the observation process we utilize and share information on other procedures that could be used.
